2026 Series Winners
After six rounds and with the best four results counting towards the overall standings, the final series champions were:

- Solo Women: Helen Jackson
- Generation Pairs: Toby & Lewis Dalton
- Adult Pairs / Teams: Richard Morgan & Rebecca Griffin
Congratulations to all the category winners and to every rider who took part throughout the series.
We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year. If you’ve never tried a Lanequest before, make 2027 the year you give it a go – you might just discover your new favourite cycling event. See you on the start line next season!
Six Evenings of Adventure
Summer is on the horizon, and that can only mean one thing — Wheelbase Lakeland Lanequest is back. One of the most loved fixtures in the local cycling calendar returns this June and July, bringing six weeks of fun, friendly competition and classic Lake District adventure. Two hour bike orienteering events on country lanes. Suitable for all bikes & abilities, including electric bikes.
- Six Tuesday evenings across June and July
- Start anytime between 5.30pm and 7pm
- Best four results count, so you don’t need to make every round
- Suitable for all ages, all abilities and all bikes (including electric)
How to Enter
No pre‑entry, no fuss — just turn up and ride. Cash or Card.
- Registration from 5pm
- Adults: £10
- Under 18s: £3
- Under 12s: Free
Bring a bike, a helmet, a pen, and a sense of adventure. Maps are provided on the night.
