The Abus CliffHanger Mountain Bike Helmet is a lightweight and well-ventilated trail helmet designed for demanding mountain biking and enduro riding. Built to remain comfortable and secure across steep, technical terrain, it combines an in-mould construction with structural reinforcement, an adjustable fit system and extensive ventilation for challenging days on the trails.
Abus ActiCage reinforcement adds stability to the helmet structure while allowing space for large ventilation openings. The Zoom Spin adjustment system, TriVider strap system and magnetic FIDLOCK buckle provide a secure and convenient fit, while an adjustable peak and lower edge protection add practicality for regular trail riding.

Trail-Focused Protection
The CliffHanger uses an in-mould construction where the EPS inner cushioning material is foamed directly into the polycarbonate outer shell. This creates a durable connection while helping keep the helmet lightweight for demanding mountain bike riding.
Additional ActiCage reinforcement strengthens the helmet structure while allowing the use of large ventilation openings. A polycarbonate outer shell also extends around the lower edge of the helmet to help protect it against scratches, impacts and everyday wear.
Secure and Adjustable Fit
The Abus Zoom Spin adjustment system uses a rotary wheel at the rear of the helmet for individual adjustment to the rider’s head size. Its height-adjustable design also incorporates an opening that makes the helmet suitable for longer hairstyles including ponytails, buns and braids.
Abus TriVider uses a particularly flat strap divider with fixed positioning to help prevent unwanted adjustment while riding. A magnetic FIDLOCK buckle makes the chin strap easy to open with one hand, including when wearing riding gloves.
Ventilation and Comfort
Large ventilation openings help manage airflow during climbs and demanding trail riding. Soft Comfort Pads provide additional cushioning inside the helmet and are attached using Velcro so they can be removed for hand washing or replaced when required.
Adjustable Peak
A height-adjustable peak uses locking positions to allow its position to be changed depending on riding conditions. It provides additional protection from sunlight and hanging branches when riding wooded and exposed trails.
