Castelli Nano Rain Waterproof Cycling Bibtights
The Castelli Nano Rain Cycling Bibtights are purpose-built for committed cyclists who keep riding when the roads are soaked and the weather turns foul. Unlike a conventional winter tight with added water repellency, the Nano Rain is specifically designed around wet-weather performance, using Nano Flex EVO technology to combine high water resistance with warmth, stretch and freedom of movement.
Designed for approximately 4 to 16 C, the tightly knitted polypropylene fabric uses a PFAS-free C0 DWR treatment to resist water absorption. Castelli’s Progetto X2 Air seamless seat pad provides long-distance comfort, while reduced seaming, a breathable perforated back panel and raw-cut ankles create a streamlined fit for demanding rides in the rain.

Built Specifically for Rain
The Nano Rain isn’t intended to be an all-purpose winter bibtight. Nano Flex EVO has been developed specifically for riding in wet conditions, using tightly knitted polypropylene that naturally resists water absorption together with a PFAS-free C0 DWR treatment. The result is a protective, highly water-resistant construction for cold rides when rain and soaked roads are unavoidable.
Warmth, Stretch and Comfort
Nano Flex EVO provides substantial warmth while retaining the stretch needed for unrestricted pedalling. Castelli has also reduced the number of seams to improve comfort and fit, while a perforated back panel increases breathability where additional ventilation is useful.

The Progetto X2 Air seamless seat pad provides the cushioning and support needed for longer rides, making the Nano Rain suitable for demanding winter training and endurance miles when poor weather doesn’t mean cutting the ride short.

Care and Reproofing
Nano Flex EVO requires regular care to maintain its intended wet-weather performance. Castelli recommends washing the bibtights after every wet ride, applying a water-repellent reproofer spray generously while the fabric is still wet after washing, then allowing them to dry for 24 hours before storing them ready for the next rainy ride.
