Cervelo spero-5 SRAM Force AXS 1 Gravel Bike

The Cervelo spero-5 is built for the front of the race. It is the fastest gravel bike Cervelo has ever made, designed for riders who want maximum speed, sharp handling and aerodynamic efficiency on demanding courses. Cervelo has taken 30 years of aero expertise and applied it to gravel racing. The result is a bike that is 37 Watts faster than the previous spero-5 and 34 Watts faster than its nearest competitor.

The frame is lighter, stiffer and more aerodynamic. It has clearance for 45 mm tyres, integrated downtube storage and a threaded bottom bracket for durability. The geometry is tuned for racing, with stable handling on rough terrain and sharper steering when using mixed tyre widths. The spero-5 is already proven at the highest level, winning the UCI Gravel World Championships under Marianne Vos.

This build pairs the aerodynamic frame with SRAM Force AXS 1x components, a power meter, a ceramic bottom bracket and the Reserve 48/53GR wheelset with DT Swiss 350 hubs. It is a fast, efficient and highly capable gravel race bike ready for the toughest events.

Aerodynamic Gravel Performance

The spero-5 is the most aerodynamic gravel bike Cervelo has ever made. The frame, fork and cockpit reduce drag significantly. The aero handlebar and stem save nearly 6 Watts on their own. The bike is designed to stay fast on open gravel, rough terrain and long race sections.

Lightweight And Efficient

The frame is 66 grams lighter than the previous spero-5. Despite the added surface area for aero shaping, the bike remains light, stiff and efficient. It accelerates quickly and holds speed with less effort.

Mixed And Matched Tyre Geometry

The geometry works with equal tyre widths for stable handling on rough courses. For faster, less technical terrain, Cervelo optimised the bike for a 4 mm tyre width difference to improve aerodynamics and sharpen steering.

Integrated Downtube Storage

The downtube storage door keeps tools, tubes and a flat kit inside the frame and out of the wind. It is light, secure and easy to access.

SRAM Force AXS Drivetrain

SRAM Force AXS provides smooth, wireless shifting with a wide 10 to 52 tooth cassette. The 48 tooth chainring and power meter add efficiency and accurate training data. The ceramic bottom bracket improves durability and smoothness.

Reserve 48/53GR Wheels

The Reserve 48/53GR wheelset is designed for fast gravel racing. The mixed depth profile improves stability and speed. DT Swiss 350 hubs add reliable performance and quick engagement.
