Marin Tam XR 2026 Mountain Bike

The Marin Tam XR is the range topping short travel trail bike built for riders who want maximum speed, efficiency and control. The Series 4 aluminium frame uses 120 mm of IsoTrac flexstay suspension for smooth support on rough terrain. A Fox 34 SL Performance Elite fork, Float SL shock, Shimano Deore Di2 wireless drivetrain and a PNW Loam dropper post create a lightweight and responsive setup for XC loops, long days and technical singletrack. With space for two bottles, internal cable routing and easy service parts, the Tam XR is designed for riders who want top level performance without complication.

Lightweight And Efficient Frame

The Series 4 aluminium frame uses the IsoTrac flexstay suspension layout for 120 mm of smooth, efficient travel. It reduces weight and complexity while keeping the bike responsive on climbs and controlled on descents. The geometry uses a 65 degree head angle and 76 degree seat tube angle for stability and climbing comfort.

Fox Performance Elite Suspension

A Fox 34 SL Performance Elite fork with the GRIP X damper provides lightweight support and precise control. The matching Float SL Performance Elite shock is tuned specifically for the Tam XR, offering consistent damping and traction on technical terrain.

Wireless Drivetrain And Powerful Brakes

Shimano Deore Di2 delivers fast, accurate wireless shifting with a wide range 10 51T cassette for steep climbs. SRAM Motiv Silver four piston brakes with 180 mm rotors provide strong and reliable stopping power.

Lightweight Wheels And Fast Rolling Tyres

WTB KOM Light i30 rims, WTB X7 hubs and Maxxis Rekon Race tyres create a fast rolling and lightweight wheel setup. The tyres are tubeless ready for improved grip and puncture protection.
