The Yeti ASR C2 Ultimate is a lightweight full suspension cross country mountain bike built for XC racing, fast climbs and technical trails. Its carbon frame combines 120 mm front and 115 mm rear travel with a flex-stay suspension design, while 29 inch wheels and modern XC geometry balance efficient pedalling with confident handling.
A RockShox SID Ultimate 3P fork and RockShox SID Luxe Select 3P shock deliver lightweight, race-focused suspension performance. A SRAM GX Eagle 12 speed drivetrain provides the range for steep climbs and fast race sections, while DT Swiss M1900 wheels, Maxxis Rekon tyres and a Fox Transfer SL dropper post complete a fast, capable XC build.

Frame and Suspension
The Yeti ASR carbon frame is designed to be light, efficient and responsive. Yeti’s zero-redundant carbon construction removes unnecessary material while maintaining the strength and stiffness required for cross country racing and fast trail riding.
The suspension pairs 120 mm of front travel with 115 mm at the rear. The flex-stay rear suspension provides traction and small bump compliance while maintaining the efficient pedalling characteristics required for XC riding.
A 66.5 degree head angle adds confidence on technical descents, while the 75.5 degree effective seat tube angle creates an efficient position for climbing.
Fork
The RockShox SID Ultimate 3P fork delivers 120 mm of front travel for control across roots, rocks and technical XC terrain. Its lightweight, race-focused design complements the ASR’s balance of climbing efficiency and descending capability.
Drivetrain
A SRAM GX Eagle 12 speed drivetrain gives the ASR a wide range of gears for steep climbs and high-speed sections of trail. The 10-52T cassette is paired with a 32T GX Eagle crankset, providing versatile gearing for cross country riding and racing.
A threaded SRAM DUB BSA73 bottom bracket keeps the setup straightforward and serviceable.
Brakes
SRAM G2 R hydraulic disc brakes provide controlled braking for fast and technical XC riding. A 180 mm front rotor adds stopping power at the front, while a 160 mm rear rotor helps maintain a lightweight setup.
Wheels and Tyres
DT Swiss M1900 29 inch wheels with 30 mm rims provide a dependable platform for fast cross country riding. The larger wheel size helps maintain momentum and roll efficiently across rough terrain.
A Maxxis Rekon 2.4 EXO front tyre provides grip and control, paired with a faster rolling Maxxis Rekon Race 2.35 EXO rear tyre for efficient acceleration and speed.
Cockpit and Contact Points
A 760 mm Burgtec Ride Wide Alloy handlebar and 50 mm Burgtec Enduro MK3 stem create a controlled cockpit, finished with ODI Elite Pro grips.
The Fox Transfer SL Performance Elite dropper post provides additional clearance for technical terrain, with size-specific travel of 100 mm on XS, 125 mm on Small and 150 mm on Medium to XL frames.
