The Scott Spark RC is designed for one purpose: to go fast. Every part of the frame, suspension and integration works together to create a race bike that feels calm, predictable and efficient at high speed. It is built for modern World Cup racing, where control, grip and stability matter as much as low weight.
Grip and Control
Speed starts with grip. The Spark RC frame is engineered as a complete system, using controlled flex and stiffness across key zones to improve traction and line control. The bike stays composed when the terrain pushes back. That stability is felt at the tire contact patch, in corners and under load. When the bike stays calm, you spend less energy correcting it. That means clearer feedback, more trust in your line choice and more speed you can carry.
Lightweight Performance That Matters
The Spark RC uses deliberate engineering to turn low weight into real performance. The optimized shock placement lowers the center of mass, improving stability, cornering precision and overall control. The bottom bracket area is reinforced to handle pedaling loads efficiently. The shock sits protected from dirt, water and impact, keeping suspension performance consistent over time. The result is acceleration you can feel, predictable handling and repeatable race performance.
Precision Geometry
The Spark RC uses modern, race‑first geometry with built‑in head angle adjustability of +/- 0.5 degrees. Riders can tune handling to terrain and preference without compromising stability. The frame supports two water bottles, including a large downtube bottle, even on size S. This keeps hydration on the bike and out of the way.
Focus on Speed, Not Complexity
The Spark RC is designed to remove friction. Setup is intuitive. Cable routing is tidy and protected. Suspension access is fast. Integration is precise without adding unnecessary complexity. The protected shock delivers consistent performance on long marathon rides. Every detail exists to reduce distractions before, during and after the ride.
Your Bike. Your Setup.
The Spark RC is built around its suspension system. Supplied shocks are custom‑tuned for the platform, giving a race‑ready setup straight out of the box. Standard XC shocks are also compatible for riders who prefer a different feel. The platform is complete from day one without limiting future tuning.
Fast Access and Reliable Protection
The shock sits inside the frame, protected from dirt and water. Magnetic and clipped covers make access quick. Both covers are sealed against dust and moisture. When running a split downtube cover, a drain hole helps evacuate water, while the shock shaft and seals remain fully protected.
Full Dropper Insertion
Fit and dropper setup are optimized for modern XC riding. A redesigned bottle‑cage mount moves threads outside the frame, allowing full dropper insertion. M, L and XL sizes support 150 mm droppers, with larger sizes supporting up to 200 mm. This gives more room to move, a lower center of gravity and better control on technical descents.
Integrated Storage
All models feature downtube storage for ride essentials. Select models include the Syncros Save the Day Kit with pump, tube and tire levers. Removing the cover reveals an integrated tool next to the shock for axle and suspension adjustments. Everything is designed to prevent small issues from becoming bigger ones.
Steering Stopper
A steering stopper protects the frame by preventing the handlebar and levers from hitting the top tube. It also limits cable rotation to reduce damage after a fall. It engages automatically and can be removed and reinstalled with the frame tool.
Clean Cable Routing
Syncros Octopus cable routing keeps cables short, protected and out of sight. Each cable enters its own color‑coded duct at the headset, eliminating routing errors. Ducts run through the frame to anchor points accessible under the shock cover. The system is compatible with most aftermarket XC shocks, keeping integration useful without locking riders into a closed system.
